Love home theater magazine. Now it is mobile. No brainer. Love it

Okay

So with touch screen/hand gesture input as well as the super high-clarity of Retina display, Id expect a little more from this magazine app. Every magazine app out there should model their functionality after Macworlds magazine app. In the Macworld app: Text is appropriately sized so you dont have to adjust/zoom; use of a scrolling screen with multiple layers is great; interactivity with clickable page parts makes it more than just a digital form of a printed magazine. This is what I want from Home Theater! Great articles; outstanding insight and reviews, just need the app to catch up to the competition. iOS is extremely powerful... use it! Hope you developers/writers are listening!

Only thing missing is Article (Product) Review Search

The digital version is great, although I subscribe to both versions I.e. printer & digital. There are times when Im looking for the review of a product I read in the printed version months ago. I went to the digital format to search for the review of that product. I had to down load multiple months & look in each table on contents. An article review search would be Wonderful!!!

Lost subscription in app update

Although the magazine has always been great, they just lost me as a customer. I had a paid subscription on the old version of the app. After making a new app, they will not transfer the remainder of my subscription to the new app. So now its up to me to beg apple for a refund. Thats no way to treat a paying customer.

Lost Subscription

I used to ready this magazine via newstand and now that this company created their own application I was asked by them to get in contact straight with Apple for a refund. This is not the way to treat a paying customer.

Purchase Restore does not work

Been trying for a month to restore my iTunes subscription. No response from support. Please fix.

Subscription was automatically renewed but have no access. Give me my money back.

Ripoff

I purchased the original app under the old developer Bonnier Digital. I was satisfied with the app, however, my subscription didnt transfer to the new app under the current developer. I was just one issue into my automatic renewal before the transfer occurred, and it took me a couple of months to notice that the app transfer has taken place. When I went to request a refund from Bonnier and Apple, neither couple help me, so I basically paid a full years subscription fee for a single issue. I didnt think this type of thing could occur, but the lesson has been learned. I will strongly consider letting my other magazine digital subscriptions expire, and I dont think I will be renewing any more magazine subscriptions through the App Store.

Take a Minute!

My restore purchases didnt work at first. But I somehow went back to app page or just closed the newsstand and reopened it. It worked after 35-45 seconds of checking it out. Love it, ppl complaining,,,,do you really think Apple a multibillion dollar company it trying to rip u off a magazine. Geez!

Why should I have to pay for the digital edition when I already buy the print subscription?

The Worst

Dont even bother. If anything goes wrong, this company will not be responsive. And take it from me, some.thing will go wrong!! Now it wont work with my 1st generation iPad and I had to cancel. They refunded me $3.00!!!!! For a whole year left.

Non-functional!

Used to work just fine but does not work at all. I subscribe to magazine and the media edition used to be included. I am assuming that they have changed the rules somewhere along the way that you now need to subscribe separately to the media version in addition to the print version. What a complete ripoff - I will be canceling my print edition and move on.

Just the worst.

Content is good, the digital app is just the worst. I subscribe for year. Work well for three months. And then stopped working. I restored my subscription. No luck. I contacted their digital helpdesk, they couldnt help me because I subscribe through iTunes. I reinstalled app, no luck. Same problems I have with them years ago. The lousiest worst digital app ever. Only rating one star as I cant right zero.

Terribly written app

Months ago this was a great app.. Not sure what they did to it, but it is now a disaster. It frequently crashes. Often forgets that I have a subscription, and almost every time I use it and try to download an issue it tells me I need to reinstall the app.

Very frustrating!!!

Keeps Crashing

App wont let me download any of the magazines I subscribe too. It just keeps telling me to re launch the app and try again. Ive tried all of the troubleshooting steps, and still no luck.

What did you do to the app?

The app used to be stable and functional, now it just sits in the newsstand and I cant even get to see the content of the magazine. This is very frustrating when you have a subscription to the publication. Updated the iPad to iOS 8 and refuses to work.
